The Nevada Neuroscience Foundation is dedicated to improving
the quality of life for people with chronic neurologic conditions, their
families, and thier care givers.
The Nevada Neuroscience Foundation (NNF) was founded in 2002
in response to a vision of neurodiagnostic medicine and rehabilitative care. It
is a not for profit 501 (c)(3) entity, guided by a ten member Board of
Directors. A panel of local neurologists interact with the Board of Directors
as non-voting Medical Advisors. Membership on the Board is open to any member
of the community upon confirmation by the Board of Directors.
In addition to sponsoring educational programs for clients, the Foundation
provides the services of licensed social workers at no cost to its clients. The
Foundation also maintains a patient assistance fund to assist clients with the
pressing needs affecting their ability to receive disease diagnosis, treatment
or to assist with the basic needs of life.
Our mission is to help clients and their care partners living with Parkinson
Disease, multiple sclerosis and other chronic neurological illnesses receive
diagnosis, treatment, social service assistance and disease education. We
accomplish this mission through programs specifically designed to address the
needs of our client population. This will enable Southern Nevada residents to
benefit from superior medical, rehabilitative and educational services locally.
